Dean of Students
I have a long and successful history with Western Washington University. I completed both my BA (1981) and MEd (1993) at Western. During my undergraduate years, I worked in the University Residences as an Assistant Manager of an apartment complex on campus, Buchanan Towers. As well as, a Peer Advisor in Academic Advising, and a student assistant in the Vice President of Student Affairs Office.
In 1987 I returned to Western as an Admissions/Financial Aid Counselor, charged with the task of enhancing ethnic diversity among student populations. My career has expanded and changed over the years, including a recent appointment to the WWU Presidential Search of 2008. ~Dean Ted Pratt, Jr.
