Accommodation Request Timelines

We encourage students to make accommodation requests in a timely manner. Below is a list of some accommodations and appropriate timelines for most circumstances. If requests are made after the deadline, DRS will make a good faith effort to fulfill the request. Accommodations are approved throughout the quarter, but are not retroactive. If you are experiencing difficulty in a class during the middle of a term and have questions about using accommodations, we encourage you to contact us and meet with your DRS counselor as soon as possible. Untimely requests may result in delay, substitutions, or the inability to fulfill the request(s).
