Completing A Needs Assessment

Student

  1. Contacts DRS to make a Needs Assessment appointment with a DRS Administrator.
  2. Acquires a copy of disability documentation from health care provider or other qualified diagnostician.

 

DRS Administrator

  1. Meets with student and reviews documentation. In collaboration with student, determines appropriate and reasonable accommodations and/or auxiliary aids.

 

Student

  1. If the student disagrees with the determined accommodations or auxiliary aids, the student may appeal the decision. Information on the Grievance Process is located here.
