Location
| Western Washington University has a beautiful location in the Puget Sound region of northwest Washington State. The city of Bellingham has a growing Asian community situated between larger Asian populations in the Greater Seattle area and in Vancouver, British Columbia. Western Washington University enrolls a number of students from East Asia in degree programs and in English as a Second Language programs. Students from Western also participate in overseas study in various Asian countries. Formal programs in China, Japan and Korea provide opportunities for both faculty and student international exchange. The city of Bellingham also has long-standing sister city relationships around the Pacific Rim. |
