Beginning Glassblowing

 Program Details Try your hand at a centuries-old art technique that hasn’t gone cold! This hot art form is taught in a glassblowing studio by local artist Christopher Morrison, who has studied under and assisted the work of notable glass artist Dale Chihuly.

In this hands-on course, students will:

  • Create and keep their own glass art
  • Have the opportunity to feature their artwork in a library display on campus
  • Get one-on-one guidance in a small class (limited to 16 students!)
  • Explore the history and design elements of glassblowing
