Poulsbo

Established in 2013, Western Washington University Center at Olympic College Poulsbo is a collaboration between Olympic College and Western to serve the community and businesses on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Western Washington University, through partnerships with Olympic and Peninsula Colleges, offers flexible degree programs. Western on the Peninsulas offers an array of lifelong learning opportunities as well, including community events, Academy for Lifelong Learning, and youth programs.

Academy for Lifelong Learning on the Peninsulas

Designed for active adult learners and guided by the belief that a curious mind never retires, the Academy for Lifelong Learning on the Peninsulas offers short non-credit topics in liberal arts and the sciences. Instructors teach in an engaging style that encourages discussion and an exchange of ideas.  Join us and experience learning simply for the joy of learning.


SEA Discovery Center

SEA Discovery Center combines science, education, and an aquarium. We welcome visitors of all ages to learn more about the creatures living in the waters that surround us.


Summer Session

Summer @ Western is an open quarter and formal admission into Western is not required. Summer Session offers several courses on the peninsulas and over 90 online courses.


Western Lecture Series

The Western Lecture Series hosts educational events that explore popular topics such as human rights, the environment, business, wellness and more. All events are open to the public and feature guest speakers who are experts in their field.


Youth Programs

Western's Youth Programs offers K-12 enrichment programming each summer in Poulsbo, including Odyssey of Science and Arts (grades 4-9) and Western Kids Camp (grades K-4).
