Safety Policy
University Policy on Safety and Responsibilities
It is the policy of Western Washington University to:
- Establish and maintain a healthy and safe environment for sanctioned activities of students, faculty, staff, and visitors;
- Protect the environment to the maximum extent feasible;
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant published standards and practices relating to the above; and
- Consider primarily the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors in the design, operation, construction, modification, or renovation of University buildings and facilities.
