Bicycle Responsibility Code
Developed by the Student Bicycle Advisory Coalition and amended by the Central Health and Safety Committee on June 3, 1996.
- Pedestrians always have the right-of-way.
- Stay in control.
- Avoid congested areas and use back roads when possible.
- Obey the dismount policy and obey all traffic laws.
- Dismount and walk your bike when in crowded areas.
- Minimize impact - stay off the lawns and planted areas.
- Park and lock bikes only at bike racks.
- KNOW THE CODE.
