Appointments and Elections |
A motion to nominate Bruce Hamilton to serve as ATC’s Vice Chair (forwarded by Craig Moyer and seconded) was approved with one abstention.

A motion to recommend that ATC’s Extended Education representative hold a voting position (forwarded by Craig Moyer and seconded) passed unanimously.

IT Senior Advisory Committee Membership |
A motion to recommend the addition of a faculty representative from the Academic Technology Committee to the membership of the IT Senior Advisory Committee in order to ensure communication (forwarded by Serge Smirnov and seconded) passed.

Appointments and Elections |
Committee members approved the appointment of IT Professional Colin Hanson as the Academic Technology Committee representative to the Student Technology Fee (STF) Committee by general consent.

Curriculog |
The Academic Technology Committee supports moving forward with implementation of Curriculog software, but recommended working with Enterprise Application Services prior to entering into a contract with Digarc to investigate the following:
The Academic Technology Committee also recommends that the Faculty Senate request functional and technical demonstrations of Curriculog prior to implementation.

Student Technology Fee (STF) Proposals |
ATC Chair Craig Moyer presented survey results from committee member feedback on the STF proposals. Committee members discussed the survey results, the STF proposals, and the process for reviewing the STF proposals and preproposals.
A motion to recommend to the Student Technology Fee (STF) Committee to replace STF preproposals with brief presentations in order to offer an opportunity for dialogue, increase engagement, save time for both proposers and evaluators, and take advantage of technology (forwarded by Craig Moyer and seconded) passed unanimously.

Resolution Thanking STF Representative |
A resolution thanking Colin Hanson for his work as the Academic Technology Committee representative on the Student Technology Fee Committee (forwarded by Andy Klein and seconded) passed unanimously.

A motion to communicate to university colleges that appointees to the Academic Technology Committee can be Extended Education faculty (forwarded by TJ Olney and seconded) passed.
