Curriculog
The Academic Technology Committee supports moving forward with implementation of Curriculog software, but recommended working with Enterprise Application Services prior to entering into a contract with Digarc to investigate the following:
  • What is included in the contract and quoted price and what is not included?
  • Is the pricing competitive and are there any alternatives?
  • Will it integrate with Banner and does it matter if it does not integrate with Banner?
  • What does the Ellucian partnership entail in terms of integration with Banner?
  • Where is the data stored and how secure is it?
  • What are the plug-ins that this software uses? Specifically, does it rely on Flash?
  • Will Curriculog have the appropriate workflow?
  • Who will oversee the implementation of the workflow?
  • Who can change or alter the workflow and the rules?
  • Who will be using this software once it is implemented?

The Academic Technology Committee also recommends that the Faculty Senate request functional and technical demonstrations of Curriculog prior to implementation.
