WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY

ACADEMIC TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

MINUTES OF MEETING OF February 16, 2011

Vice Chair Gary Bornzin called the Academic Technology Committee to order on February 16, 2011, at 4:03 PM.  There were thirteen  people present (see attached roster).

Approval of the Minutes The minutes February 9, 2011, were approved as written.

Discussion

The committee discussed the idea that there could be bias from members who are directly involved with particular proposals. It is helpful to have clarification from someone involved with the proposal; there was no concern that the recommendations would be overly influenced by any bias.

STF Proposals – Funding recommendations

The committee discussed the proposals by ranking them high or low priority.  Bob Thomas will compile ATC recommendations and comments, and convey them to STF Committee.
