Biography

Bob Keller holds a Ph.D. in Church History from the University of Chicago where he specialized in federal Indian policy and Church/State relations. He has taught at the University of Puget Sound, Colorado College, Olympic College, the University of Maine, and currently for the local Academy for Lifelong Learning. Joining the Fairhaven faculty in 1968, Bob pursued a strong interest in special-theme quarters and intensive classes until retiring in 1994. Since then he has served on the boards of the Dudley Foundation, Greenways, and Whatcom Land Trust. His wife is Pat Karlberg, administrative assistant to the Fairhaven dean, 1967-87. The two have lived in Germany six times during the past dozen years.
