Biography

Scot Nichols has his M.A. in clinical Somatic Psychology from Santa Barbara Graduate Institute and his undergraduate degree from Fairhaven College. He has been teaching and guest speaking on a range of new research focused on issues of embodiment, stress, wellness, and the evolving interdisciplinary conversation of mind-body topics. He has a private Somatic psychotherapy practice in Bellingham.

Somatic psychology; education; affective neuroscience; embodiment; movement; learning; emotions and society.
