Transportation
Most Conference events will be held on Western Washington University's campus in Bellingham, Washington. We are two hours north of Seattle and one hour south of Vancouver, BC.
By Air
Sea-Tac International Airport (SEA) is located approximately 100 miles south of Bellingham, in Seatac, WA. Shuttle services to Bellingham are available at http://www.airporter.com or by calling 1-866-235-5247. The Airport Shuttle will drop you off at Val U Inn, located at 805 Lakeway Drive. You will need to cross the street and head West about 1 block to the Conference Hotel, located at 714 Lakeway Drive. All major car rental services are available at Sea-Tac.
The Bellingham International Airport (BLI) is located approximately 7 miles, or 15 minutes, north of WWU. BLI offers convenient bus, taxi and shuttle services. By Bus
Only 2 miles from WWU, the Fairhaven Transportation Center houses both Greyhound bus lines and Amtrak train service. To check Greyhound routes, schedules, and rates, visit www.greyhound.com.
By Train
The Amtrak Cascades line runs from Eugene, OR to Vancouver, BC. The Coast Starlight line runs from Los Angeles to Seattle. For more information, call Amtrak at 360-734-8851 or 1-800-USA-RAIL or visit their website: www.amtrak.com. Taxi service is available from the Fairhaven Transportation Center.
