General Ledger Accounting

General Ledger Accounting provides accounting services to the WWU community by protecting and verifying the accuracy of its financial resources. We are committed to providing sound fiscal management to the campus community.

Services we provide include:

Prepare, review and distribute university financial statements
Prepare and distribute monthly, quarter, yearly state reports
Record various types of University transactions pertaining to bonds, capital leases, agency account and capital assets
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
General Ledger maintenace
Tax accounting and education
Coordinate internal and external audits
Analysis of financial data
Interpretation of finance policy and procedure
Maintain alignment with generally accepted accounting principles
