Our hope is that it will help inform you of our processes, policies and services and provide you a ready reference to information, forms and any reports which may assist you in generating and tracking your department’s General Receivable accounts.

What is a general receivable?

General Receivables is an area within Student Accounts that handles billing, tracking, and collecting non-student receivables.

You have a general receivable, if:

• You provide services or sell goods to customers, other than students, and you don’t get paid at the time you provide the service.
• You provide the customer with a bill for your goods or services, and are waiting for the customer to pay.
