Equipment & Network Support

Hardware Support

We provide hardware support services for all IT equipment for the AVP BFA group, including:

  • Configuring new division machines, including imaging and software installation
  • Installation of new equipment, such as PCs, laptops, projectors, printers, netbooks, scanners, and other peripheral devices
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues
  • Maintaining inventory lists of all equipment within the AVP group
  • Make recommendations for technology-related purchases

Software Support

We provide sofware services for users in the AVP BFA group, including:

  • Troubleshooting software issues
  • Providing 1st level support for all installed software, such as Windows XP, Windows 7, all Microsoft/Adobe/FTP products, as well as specialized departmental software

Network Support & Resource Development

We also provide select network support services as well as help with IT resource development, including:

  • Assigning network directory permissions
  • Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting end-user databases
  • Creating online training tools
  • Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Western's CASHNET eMarket sites
  • Maintaining the Central Stores online ordering system
  • Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting AVP web sites
