Hardware Support
We provide hardware support services for all IT equipment for the AVP BFA group, including:
- Configuring new division machines, including imaging and software installation
- Installation of new equipment, such as PCs, laptops, projectors, printers, netbooks, scanners, and other peripheral devices
- Troubleshooting hardware issues
- Maintaining inventory lists of all equipment within the AVP group
- Make recommendations for technology-related purchases
Software Support
We provide sofware services for users in the AVP BFA group, including:
- Troubleshooting software issues
- Providing 1st level support for all installed software, such as Windows XP, Windows 7, all Microsoft/Adobe/FTP products, as well as specialized departmental software
Network Support & Resource Development
We also provide select network support services as well as help with IT resource development, including:
- Assigning network directory permissions
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting end-user databases
- Creating online training tools
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Western's CASHNET eMarket sites
- Maintaining the Central Stores online ordering system
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting AVP web sites
