Banner: Person - Entity Search Standards

The primary purpose of this class is to investigate methods to ensure no duplicate records for the same person or entity are created in Banner. This class introduces the participant to the different search forms and processes available in Banner. Challenges to effective searches are explored. This class is a mandatory training class for anyone with Banner maintenance permissions.

BI/Query User & Reports Fundamentals

This class introduces the participant to the basic operations of BI/Query User, a data warehouse data extraction tool and BI/Query Reports, a report-generating tool. In this class, the participant will learn how to build basic queries including prompts, sorting and qualifying the data extracted from the data warehouse. STAR: Approving Payroll From Leave Request to Paycheck Getting it Right
