Walking Group Instructor

Karis Anderson was born and raised in Seattle, Washington where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. Through high school Karis participated in various sports such as Volleyball, Gymnastics, and Track and Field. Karis is currently a senior at Western Washington University studying Kinesiology. She has continued her athletics in college participating in the Western Track and Field program. Karis is a 3 time All-American Pole Vaulter and Team Captain. Karis is a certified ACE Personal Trainer working at the Wade King Student Recreation Center. Other hobbies Karis enjoys are cooking, knitting, making jewelry, and taking care of her 3 chickens Annie, Clementine, and Georgia. Karis hopes to use her passion of cooking and health to become a Registered Dietician as well as her Personal Training and knowledge in Pole Vault to become a Collegiate Pole Vault coach.
