Faculty & Staff Wellness Programs
1:00-1:30 PM Now in Gym A
with Kaylee Nightingale
This is a 30 minute class designed for those who starting an exercise routine, or who want to be in and out of the gym in 30 minutes. We will work on functional movements through strength training, cardiovascular work, and flexibility. We will use bodyweight, and some minimal free weight equipment, such as dumbbells, medballs and bands.
Athletic shoes and comfortable clothes that you can sweat in are recommended. Everything in the class will be designed to work within the constraints of limited space and equipment.
Location: Carver Gym A and outside locations.
Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00-1:30 PM
Class Date Information:
- Start: Tues 3/31
- End: Thurs 6/18
- NO CLASSES on the following days: Thurs 5/14, Tues 6/2, Thurs 6/4, Tues 6/9 & Thurs 6/11!
- The quarter has been extended a week (Tues 6/16 & Thurs 6/18) to make up for some of these days! Location for these class days is TBA.
- You are also welcome to attend Hatha Yoga on days I am gone. It takes place in Carver Room 60 with Susan from Noon-1. Or, you are welcome to attend Nia while I am gone. It takes place in Carver Gym A with Lisa from Noon-1.
