Description:

Meditation Monday is a 30-minute class that explores the powerful benefits of mindfulness meditation. Whether you are a long-time meditator or just getting started, this class will provide you with support and instruction to develop a mindfulness meditation practice. Classes will begin with basic instruction on posture, breathing techniques, tips for enhancing your practice and developing body awareness; a significant portion of the class is practicing silent meditation.

This class is a perfect anchor to begin your week in a calm and centered space. Participants are welcome to use the seating available, sit on the floor or bring personal cushions/meditation benches. You don’t even need to change your clothes for class – come as you are!

Location: Viking Union Building rooms 565, MPR & 714.
