Restorative & Meditative Yoga
*Working with Body and Mind*
Our bodies are made to move. Restorative Yoga uses restful poses with props to stimulate and relax the body as it moves toward balance. Many people who are limited in movement due to illness, surgery, injury, arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, or other health conditions can change their lives using Restorative Yoga. Change may be gradual or dramatic, but it happens.
Meditation teaches us how to cope with the changes life presents. Through meditation, the body is connected to internal energy that recharges mental and physical batteries. During meditation, blood pressure is lowered and heart, breath and metabolic rates slow.
You are encouraged to bring your own mat, though some mats are provided.
Classes will be held in the Old Main Solarium on the 5th floor
$79 for Monday/Friday class package
$50 for Monday only
$50 for Friday only
