Start PCIWorks, select XPACE, then File Utility, then go to
File-open and select the file you want to export. Then go to File-Export to…

This brings up the following window:

Select the Source and destination file. Important: When
selecting the destination file you should specify that this should be “Saved as
type” of .TIFF(6.0). It is ALSO important that on the Export File window, you
must specify the Output Format is also TIF-TIFF 6.0. The default output format
is a *.pix file.
Under Exportable items, you should hit the “Select All”
button and then the “Add” button and then the “Export” button.
Then, Start ERDAS
Hit the button,
then fill in the Import/Export dialog box.

This involves specifying the import type as a TIFF file and
the media as a File and then specifying the input and output files. The output
file should be an ERDAS *.img file. Then hit the OK button
On the Input TIFF window, hit the Ok button.

Then wait for the job to complete.
