Graduate Application Information
The Basics
General requirements include
- a baccalaureate degree;
- TWO recent, official transcripts from each college or university attended;
- a 3.0 undergraduate gpa;
- three current letters of reference;
- GRE-General Test (Institution Code R4947, department code not required - Educational Testing Service (609) 771-7670) and/or the Miller Analogies Test;
- and favorable review and recommendation of applications by the graduate faculty in the program to which application is made.

Financial Assistance
Teaching assistantships (TAs) are available on a competitive basis and provide stipends up to $3,373/qtr and a partial (90%) tuition waiver.
Research assistantships (RAs) are available through individual faculty members. Stipends are similar to those for TAs and may provide tuition waivers. Students need to contact faculty directly when inquiring about RAs.
Funding for graduate research is often available, as is funding for travel to present papers at professional meetings.
Graduate Work-Study, in addition to other forms of financial aid, are available by submitting an application to Student Financial Resources (360-650-3470).
