Admission to Huxley College is selective and based upon preparation and prior academic performance. Students complete required preparatory courses and make formal application to Huxley College.

Overview
Huxley offers a B.S. degree for students pursuing a major in environmental science. The major offers five emphases and a student and faculty design option.
For those students interested in a B.A. degree, there are three majors and a student and faculty design option.
Huxley also offers combined majors cooperatively with the Department of Journalism, and the Department of Economics.
For students getting their teaching certification there is a B.A. degree in Education.
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences
Students may choose to do an emphasis in one of these areas: Freshwater Ecology, Marine Ecology, Terrestrial Ecology, Environmental Toxicology or Environmental Chemistry
