Welcome new guest instructor, Julia Aiken, to the program. She was a designer at Burton Snowboards and Roxy Quicksilver. She's teaching our ID Software skills this quarter.
The ID program just received three Wacom Cintiqs from the design firm, Anvil!
New 3D printer. The upper classmen are now using our new Lulzbot Taz6 constantly! That brings the total number of 3D printers in this building to seven.

January 2012: WWU ID students win multiple design awards at the Shaggies, the Northwest Design Invitational Awards 2011. Larisa Schulze won a Silver, Samuel Martin won a Bronze, and Thomas Kloucek won Bronze.
September 2011, New Orleans: WWU ID Prof. Del King was awarded the IDSA educator of the year at the IDSA International Conference.
