Canada: Simon Fraser University
Located atop beautiful Burnaby Mountain in Greater Vancouver, Simon Fraser has 3 different campuses: the main Burnaby campus, the Harbour Centre Campus in downtown Vancouver, and a campus in Surrey. It offers programs to about 25,000 students from across Canada and more than 40 countries. There are a wide variety of courses offered in over 100 programs in Applied Science, Arts, Business, Education and Science.
Academic Program Description
Simon Fraser's academic year has two semesters and runs from September to April. Areas of study have included communications, environment, history, and politics.

Housing
Simon Fraser has on-campus residences in addition to an Off-Campus Housing Office, which can assist with finding housing off-campus. Applications for residence halls can be found at http://www.reg.sfu.ca/residences/ and should be submitted with the rest of your application.
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Exchange students must take a course in Canadian studies while at Simon Fraser.
Application Procedure
- Complete Simon Fraser University's Program application form and submit along with official transcripts from colleges/universities attended, a cover letter from the Director of the Center for Canadian-American Studies, and Canadian tuition fee deposit.
- Students wishing to live on-campus should also submit a Residence Application with a residence application fee.
- Complete International Programs and Exchanges Study Abroad/Exchange Application and submit with one letter of academic reference and statement of purpose.
- Pay IPE application fee and WWU concurrent enrollment fee for your first quarter abroad

- Fall quarter/Academic Year: March 1st*
- Winter/Spring quarters: June 1st*
- Late applications considered on a case by case basis.
