  • Academics

    • The undergraduate academic calendar starts in early April as is customary in Japan. Students with any level of Japanese may attend Spring semester. Academic year and Fall semester exchanges are intended for high level Japanese speakers only.
      • Fall semester: Early September to Late January
      • Spring semester:  Early April to Late July
    • The Reconnaissance Japan Program/Kosatsu Nihon Program is offered to international students for the term of one semester (six months) or one academic year. The program includes Japanese language courses and content courses offered in Chinese or English.  

     

  • Accommodations

    • Participants in the Reconnaissance Japan Program can choose from three options:
      • Live in a homestay with a Japanese family
      • Live in Fuchinobe International House (student residence hall)
      • Make their own arrangements
