Academics

The academic year consists of two terms. Students may attend either or both terms. Students attending Autumn term may need to defer winter quarter at WWU, although it may be possible to arrange to take finals early. Spring term students will be absent from WWU for both Winter and Spring quarters.
- Autumn Term: late August - mid January
- Spring Term: mid January - early June
Accommodations

Umeå guarantees housing in single-occupancy student rooms in student corridors (similar to dormitories). Students have their choice between four different student housing areas. Housing is off-campus, but within walking distance to the University.
