Applying to Western
Undergraduate Admission
Admissions applications for all prospective undergraduate WWU students (including international students) are reviewed and decided upon by the Office of Admissions. Information on admissions requirements and application procedures for international students can be found on the Admission website.
For international students who do not yet meet the minimum TOEFL requirement or who wish to have more language preparation before entering a degree program, the Intensive English Program (IEP) offers English language courses and an opportunity to enter the university, as an undergraduate, through Conditional Admission or Academic English provision.
Graduate Admission
Admissions applications for all prospective graduate WWU students (including international students) are reviewed and decided upon by the Graduate School. Information on admissions requirements and application procedures for international students can be found on the Graduate School website.
Exchange Students
Western Washington University accepts students every year to WWU through reciprocal exchange agreements with other universities abroad or through the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). If you are interested in applying to WWU for exchange, your home university must have a current exchange agreement with Western Washington University or be a member of ISEP. If so, please contact your home university international office exchange coordinator for application details and materials.
