Life at Western

Welcome to Western! We think it’s a pretty special place. We hope that your time here – however long or short it may be – will be an opportunity for learning, developing goals, and building personal connections.  We encourage you to share experiences and traditions with all Western students and the greater Bellingham community and we invite you to take part in ISSS events and activities working to promote cross-cultural exchange.

We’ve put together a number of resources to help you engage with campus life and adjust to a new culture.  The ISSS team is here to support you throughout your time at Western – please feel free to contact us at or stop by MH212 if you have any questions or concerns.
