Publicity & Student Accomplishments

What students are saying about our program

"I feel confident knowing that my journalism education has provided me with many skills crucial to any job: effective communication, experience working with a variety of people, exceptional research abilities, excellent grammar and writing, being able to meet strict deadlines, and being able to work independently or with a team."
- Katya Slater-Szirom, News/Editorial

"In journalism, unlike most majors, if you don't know about a subject you have the skills and go-getter-ness to find out everything you can about it. It is the nature of the reporter. They can do it all."
- T.J. Cotterill, journalism minor
