I am excited to be LEAD director while studying wetlands ecology in Huxley College's Environmental Science M.S. program. I previously studied biology and environmental studies in Victoria, B.C., and worked for BC Parks and up on the remote central BC coast, but now it's good to be back in Washington and I LOVE the Bellingham area. I also like running, botanizing, getting my hands dirty, and replacing horrible weeds with native plants. I look forward to seeing you at a LEAD work party soon!
Hi there! I am an assitant here in the L.E.A.D. program. My specialty is horticulture. I am a Peace Studies, Anthropology and Environmental Studies student. I have worked for many non-profits over my time and even dabbled in non-profit work here in Whatcom County. I love to meditate, read, play the harp and grow orchids and work here at L.E.A.D.
I’m a LEAD Assistant and currently finishing my Environmental Education degree through Huxley College. I love nothing more than spending my time outside; from rock climbing, skiing, kayaking, and biking, the PNW is the perfect environment for my heart and soul to thrive! My background consists primarily of leading outdoor schools and guiding excursions in the San Juan Islands and at Mt. St. Helens. I take pride and joy in supporting my community by helping in the fight against invasives!
