DIRECTIONS TO THE OUTBACK:

Here is a link to the South Campus map, http://housing.wwu.edu/tour/southCampus.php. The Outback will be to the right of FX (Fairhaven) where it appears to be just a field. You can walk straight through the Fairhaven Complex to reach it.

This is the spot where we meet prior to Outback work parties. GREAT JOB to those featured in this photo!

North Cascades National Park at Colonial Creek         FULL!!!

Saturday May 26th  10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

HOW AWESOME IS THIS? We have the opportunity to help the North Cascades National Park and the North Cascades Institute by hiking the Thunder Creek and Thunder Knob Trails and pulling Herb Robert (a.k.a. Stinky Bob)- an invasive species up in the Park. Feel free to come up to the Park Friday night and camp- the Park will waive the camping fee for a night so you can wake up where the work party begins Saturday morning! We will be working for two hours in the morning and breaking for lunch (B.Y.O.) and then three hours of hiking/pulling invasives in the afternoon. Come join us- it will be awesome!  It takes about 2 hours to get to North Cascades National Park, so find some carpool buddies! Contact us for more information.
