The Karen Morse Institute for Leadership is searching for a few good students!
Each winter we offer Leadership Studies 450 - Leadership & Pedagogy, a course that focuses on the exploration and development of student leadership and facilitation styles and skills in the context of serving as a leader and facilitator of a small group discussion section of Leadership Studies 101, Introduction to Leadership Studies, a first year GUR.
As lead facilitators the students will have responsibility to facilitate discussions, lead experiential learning activities, work with external partners to assure quality learning for the virtual leadership-mentoring aspect of the LDST 101 course and host guest speakers as appropriate.
Students will also in addition to leading group discussion sessions, engage in selected readings, active discussion and role plays for skill building and reflective writing to document and frame their own leadership development journey.
If you know of a student or two who can both benefit from the course and contribute to the learning of others through their practice, please fill out the attached nomination form.
Enrollment for the course is capped at twelve and the selection process is competitive.
