The Learning Technology Group at Western seeks to engage faculty in implementing and evaluating new technologies for teaching.

We are interested in engaging faculty in a discussion about the technologies that matter to them in their teaching practice.

The topics of our discussions may include - but won't be limited to - all of these technology-oriented topics as they relate to higher education:

Canvas (our campus LMS)	MOOCs	Social media (Facebook/Twitter/etc.)
Lecture capture/Screencasting (Camtasia Relay)	eBooks, iBooks, and ePublishing	Integrated E-textbooks
Web conferencing	Blogs, Journals, Wikis	E-copyright issues
Online video (YouTube and beyond ...)	Open-source software (Moodle/Drupal/etc.)	Classroom response tools (Clickers)
