French Major
- 55 credits above the 100 level
- GPA of 2.50 or above in major
- maximum of 15 credits at the 200 level
- French 425 is not applicable to major
Required Courses
- French 301, 302
- French 314
- French 331 or 332
- two of French 340, 341, 342
- French 385 (repeatable for credit; 12-credit maximum)
- French 401 (must be taken on campus)
- one other 400-level French course
French Minor
- 24 credits above the 100 level
- GPA of 2.50 or above in minor
- maximum of 15 credits at the 200 level
- French 425 is not applicable to minor
Required Courses
- French 301, 302
Procedure for Declaring a Major or Minor
Make an appointment with the Advisor. When meeting with the Advisor, you should bring:
- an "Official Declaration of Undergraduate Major or Minor" form (available at the Departmental Office, HU 230)
- an unofficial WWU transcript
- the documentation for any courses taken at other universities
