Can we decouple cell cycle synchrony in A. elegantissima and S. muscatinei?
We found that under natural intertidal conditions, cell division cycles of A. elegantissima and S. muscatinei
are synchronized, but we wanted to test if this synchrony could be decoupled. We used light and feeding treatments to
manipulate cell cycle synchrony in A. elegantissima and S. muscatinei.
