Carla Rutschman holds degrees in music education and tuba performance from the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Arizona. She specialized in musicology during her doctoral studies at the University of Washington. Dr. Rutschman has developed a strong following in the Northwest for her teaching and performance abilities. She is member of the Washington Brass Ensemble and the Peter Britt Festival Orchestra in Oregon.
