Bassoonist Francine Peterson is an active freelance performer in the Northwest, performing regularly with the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra. She is also very involved as member of the Marrowstone Music Festival staff, and performs in the Governor's Chamber Music Series and the Second City Chamber Music Series. In addition to her work on Western's faculty, she maintains a large private studio and is a frequent clinician and adjudicator.
