Gregory Cox

Trombonist Gregory Cox studied with Emory Remington at the Eastman School of Music. Upon completing his undergraduate degree with distinction, he joined the North Carolina Symphony and taught at the North Carolina School of the Arts. In 1976, he joined the Vancouver (BC) Symphony, and subsequently, the CBC Vancouver Radio Orchestra. He currently teaches at the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver Academy of Music, and has recorded for Mark, Polydor, CRI, Orion and CBC.
