On May 23, 2018 the technology supporting myWestern became no longer viable unexpectedly and rather suddenly due to a required security upgrade. A myWestern upgrade previously planned for this spring was found to require too many modifications. At present, the campus is preparing to hold conversations on the preferred functionality for a newly designed and developed campus portal.
