![]() JOHN FEODOROV Art - Fairhaven College, is an artist whose work has been shown internationally. He was featured in the first season of the PBS TV series, “Art 21: Art for the 21st Century,” and in the companion book. John served as Arts Commissioner for the City of Seattle. He writes and performs with his music group, Ecce Hobo. |
![]() TIM FITZPATRICK Music. An alumnus of WWU undergraduate and graduate programs, Tim is a versatile and accomplished musician and choral director. He has broad experience in Washington, California and Canada and enjoys the vibrant cultural life at WWU and in the community. |
![]() GERI FORSBERG English - earned her Ph.D. at New York University in Communication Arts & Sciences. Geri teaches technical writing using her skills in Media Ecology, Mass Communications, Culture and Criticism, Critical Thinking about the Media, Business Communication, Media Ethics, and Digital Film-making. |
![]() MARGI POLLAND FOX English - a WWU alumna, has taught extensively in the community. She provides regional information and connections for the students in her technical and professional writing classes. Her work as a writer and editor covers a wide range of topics from salmon enhancement to executive coaching. |
![]() HUGO GARCIA Spanish - Modern & Classical Languages. A Cuban native, Hugo's research examines Colonial Latin American Literatures/ Cultures, with emphasis in urban discourse, visual culture, and the Baroque period. He is interested in Latin American 19th C. “costumbrismo” (texts of costumes) in written and painted versions, and in Caribbean cultural productions. |
![]() HOLLY GIFFEN Communications- came to Lummi Island from Boulder, CO. She teaches courses in conflict resolution and in creativity. Holly enjoys her family, sailing and living near Mt. Baker. |
![]() LEE GULYAS English - is a WWU alumna who w holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia. She teaches creative writing seminars that focus on multi-genre study and creative nonfiction. Lee was honored as finalist for the Bakeless Creative Nonfiction Prize. |
