Pizza Night is usually the 2nd rehearsal of each term.

- As usual, we encourage NSYS members to invite their musical friends to try us out and discover how rewarding it is to play in a full symphonic orchestra.
- If any parents can stay for the evening to help out with set-up, serving and clean-up that would be marvelous.
****A Big “Thank you!!!” to Little Caesar's Pizza for supporting NSYS by donating all the pizzas. Please thank them when you next go to get your family pizza!.

Attendance Reminder

• In general it is expected that members attend all rehearsals. If sickness or emergency prevents you from attending, please contact NSYS or your conductor to let them know you cannot attend.
• Thank you....to all NSYS members who are seated, tuned and ready to play at 6pm. We encourage everyone to follow their example. This really helps to get rehearsal started on time!

Volunteer Opportunities

• NSYS needs more volunteer assistance. Any time and help you can offer to the organization would be appreciated.
• Please consider your availability and talents. Contact NSYS to discuss ideas.
• Check with your place of employment and find out whether they offer volunteer grants to honor the work you generously give to a non-profit organization-

Rehearsal Drop Off and Pick Ups - Reminder

• Parents - please drop off your musicians and pick them up at the TOP of the hill that leads down to the lower entrance of the music building. There is no available parking in that lot (25G) and the many cars trying to maneuver around create a dangerous situation for all pedestrians.

• Alternatively, you may choose to enter the building through the door by the pay station in 11G (on your right as you enter the parking lot). Go up the stairs, (following the signs to the MAIN LOBBY) go along the hallway to the main stairs, go down one flight, turn right - this leads you to the main PAC lobby and you can then go down by the stairs (by the box office) or elevator (by the Concert Hall doors) to LL2 to sign in.
• There is a parent volunteer at the top of the hill to greet you and direct your student. Please let’s work together to maintain a safe environment for our musicians and their instruments. Thank you.
