Rehearsal Time and Location

Rehearsals are on Mondays, 6:00-8:15 at the Performing Arts Center at Western Washington University. Come to Lower Level 2 to sign in each evening and check for the rehearsal location for your group. Please arrive before 6:00 so that you are seated and ready to play on time.

Fall 2009

• September 21, 28
• October 5, 12, 19, 26
• November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
• Concert: Monday, December 7, 7:30pm (dress rehearsal at 6pm)

Winter 2010

• December 14
• January 4, 11, 25
• February 1, 8, 22
• March 1, 8
• Concert: Sunday, March 14 - 7:30pm (dress rehearsal at 6pm)

Spring 2010

• March 15, 22, 29
• April 12, 19, 26
• May 3, 10, 17, 24
• Concert: Monday, June 7 - 7:30pm (dress rehearsal at 6pm)

Parking

Make sure you purchase a permit. Parking is available by the PAC in lots 14G and 11G by purchasing a permit at the pay station in the parking lot. Parking is $1 per hour in these lots. If pay station is not working in 11G we suggest you park in 14G. Do not be tempted to risk not purchasing a permit.

Parking Warning - Do not park in 25G or in reserved parking spaces at any time. Infractions tickets are now $25 (and more) and parking officers are always on the lookout for vehicles without permits. If you do receive a citation, NSYS is unable to appeal on your behalf.

Auditions for 2009-2010

Auditions for placement into a new ensemble/level will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. prior to the first rehearsal for each quarter. New students are accepted for each quarter. There is no fee for auditioning with NSYS. Details for auditions can be found on the Symphony and Philharmonia pages. Please contact NSYS for details prior to audition date.
