Sinfonia
The 2011-2012 sinfonia will be directed by Coral Marchant, assistant principal cello for the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, private cello teacher and Chamber Days co-director.

Why play in a youth Sinfonia?
The Sinfonia is designed for string, wind and percussion players with beginning to two years of experience and is designed to provide an opportunity for young musicians to increase their confidence with sight reading and chamber music. The Sinfonia creates a setting that provides individual and sectional coaching under the guidance of Coral Marchant and WWU music interns. Sinfonia members will grow in their musicianship with a view to moving up to the higher levels (Philharmonia and Symphony) in future years.
