In normal circumstances, you will be able to ask your landlord for repairs by calling, emailing, or even texting them. Just ask them how they would like to be contacted! Simply telling them about the repair that is needed, however, may not always work. WARNING: If your landlord isn’t fixing serious health and safety problems in your rental then you have the right to file a complaint with the city of Bellingham. You can either call the city's Permit Center with concerns or complaints (contact information HERE ), or download a Code Enforcement Request HERE, complete the form with your complaints and concerns, and submit via email.
