Research Interests
Aging issues; the physical (strength, power, balance)
psychological (self-confidence, fear of falling) and
environmental (winter weather, the built environment)
components of function and mobility in older adults;
modification of clothing to adapt to seniors with functional
deficits; the role of personality/temperament in functional
performance and health.
Profile 
I have taught at WWU since 2006. From 2003-6, I was a
Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Studies in
Aging, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center and the Toronto
Rehabilitation Institute, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
