2011-2012: Free Thinkers of WWU
A framed certificate and check for $500 were presented to the Free Thinkers of WWU for their "Ask Us Anything" Project, a multi-religious panel of representatives from various religious organizations and secular philosophies. The panelists introduced themselves and their beliefs, then participated in two hours of Q&A.
Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. The WWU Chapter Phi Kappa Phi Service Award recognizes a Western Washington University campus organization that exemplifies the mission of Phi Kappa Phi “May the love of Learning Rule Humanity.” The competition is open to all campus organizations that engage its members in activities that broaden academic pursuit and provide service to others. The winning organization is announced at the Academic Excellence Banquet as part of Scholars Week.
