PSA Student Conference & Sandison Memorial Lecture
Tuesday May 7th, 2013
The 2013 PSA Student Conference will be a day to enjoy discussion panels, presentations, social events and the Sandison Memorial Lecture.
PSA Student Conference
Beginning in the morning and continuing throughout the day, Political Science students will be presenting and discussing research papers that they have completed in the course of their studies in Political Science. This takes place in a panel format, where topically related subjects are grouped together. The Program for the 2013 PSA Conference will be available in a pdf version towards the end of April.
Political Science students are encouraged to submit a proposal (based on a research paper you have done related to politics) to the Political Science Office. The proposal should be one paragraph that summarizes the central ideas/themes/findings of your paper. Please be sure to include your name, and contact information on the proposal. Selected students will present their paper as part of a panel of other students at the PSA conference.
Sandison Lecture
The Sandison Memorial Lecture will be given by WWU Political Science graduate Molly Laster. Molly Laster is employed by the General Accounting Office. There will be opportunities to interact with her throughout the day.
