The 2013 PSA Student Conference was a success! Students and faculty enjoyed the discussion panels, presentations, social events and the Sandison Memorial Lecture
PSA Student Conference - Fourth Floor Arntzen Hall
Beginning in the morning and continuing throughout the day, Political Science students presented and discussed research papers that they completed in the course of their studies in Political Science. The panel format allows for student questions and discussion.
Sandison Lecture - 3:00 p.m. in SL 120
The Sandison Memorial Lecture was given by WWU Political Science graduate Molly Laster. Molly received Bachelor's degrees in French and Political Science at Western before continuing on and receiving Master's degrees in International Studies and Public Administration from the University of Washington. Molly Laster is employed as a Senior Analyst by the General Accounting Office.
The Hoover Prize is awarded to one of the student presenters who participated in the PSA Conference. This will be determined within a week or two of the conference by the Political Science faculty. The Hoover Prize is $100, and is to be used toward your education.
