Faculty Mentor
The department assigns a Faculty Mentor to each new graduate student during the first quarter of study. The Faculty Mentor will be a resource for information relating to your research and goals in the program
Graduate Program Advisor
Professor Abedi is currently our Graduate Program Advisor. He is an excellent resource for information about the program. The Graduate Program Advisor will assist you in developing your plan of study, approve of independent study projects, and oversee graduate internships. In conjunction with your Faculty Mentor, he can assist in setting up your thesis committee.
Curriculum Coordinator
Students pursuing the Political Science - Environmental Studies track will work with Professor Singleton, the current Curriculum Coordinator. She will assist them in developing a plan of study and setting up a thesis committee including a Huxley professor.
Staff
The office staff are always available to help answer your questions, troubleshoot registration issues, and clarify departmental policy and procedure. The Political Science Department Office is located in Arntzen Hall Room 415. The office phone number is 360-650-3469.
